Ron Paul's H.R. 2613 bill would repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 and make it possible for permit individuals, including teachers, to carry firearms in the former "gun-free zones."

In September JBS affiliate FreedomProject Education will launch its online "21st Century Classical Education" for grades 9-12.

President Obama announced a deal with Republican leaders to raise the debt ceiling, avoiding default. The deal would cut $1 trillion in spending over the next decade, “the lowest level of domestic spending since Dwight Eisenhower was president,” Obama said.
