"Those who cannot remember the past are destined to repeat it." - George Santayana
A 2/21/99 news report in a local Atlanta area paper commemorating George Washington's birthday noted that today many school children are shockingly ignorant about the life and times of the Revolutionary war hero and our nation's first president. Then came a professor from Georgia Tech in a letter to the editor on 6/2/99 stating that "the Bill of Rights was valid for its time, but it should be replaced with a realistic document."He based this conclusion in part on his estimate that "As for handguns being used for protection, I suspect the number of innocent people killed far exceeds the number of lives saved by the self-styled vigilantes."

Executives of large corporations, their bankers, and their allies in Congress and the White House have worked together to export our manufacturing industries and their high paying jobs to China, India and Mexico. Now they need your tax money to get the goods from their foreign factories back to your hometown where income from jobs that now pay lower wages can buy their imported products. You see, there are not enough ports and highways to handle the flood of imports from their foreign factories. In the process, they want to hasten formation of The North American Union (NAU) through construction of the necessary transportation infrastructure of new ports and the connecting NAFTA superhighway through Mexico, the U.S. and Canada. The NAU is a proposed merger of Canada, Mexico and the U.S into a European Union style superstate.

On Crime, Bankers and Politicians
There exists today a crime syndicate so enormous and so powerful as to defy the imagination. Its membership is made up of bankers, businessmen, politicians and other power elite. It is international in scope and its goals are all encompassing.

The Freedom Index is a Congressional Scorecard based on the U.S. Constitution which is published by The New American Magazine.. The index extracts congressmen's votes and rates each congressman and senator based on their adherence to constitutional principles of limited government, fiscal resposibility, national sovereignty, and a traditional policy of avoiding foreign entanglements.
Here we will report on some of the votes of Georgia Senators Johhny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss and Congressman Paul Broun of the Georgia 10th Congressional District.
