According to the Evening Leader, “Members of the Grand Lake St. Marys John Birch Society recently linked up with the Ohio Project to help gather signatures in the effort to place an amendment on the ballot regarding the recently passed health care bill. According to the Ohio Project website, the amendment would provide Ohioans the freedom to choose their health care participation.
To help gather signatures, members of the local John Birch Society chapter are holding two petition signings Sunday. One will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the WeldTec parking lot at the intersection of Ohio 703 and 364. The second will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot at the intersection of Ohio 66 and 274 in New Bremen.”
