TNA Update - October 2009
Terrorism Exposed
By Gary Benoit, Editor, The New American
Over the last couple of months, The New American has published a total of eight articles exposing the international terror network, its authorship by the Soviet KGB, and the continued connections between the network and the KGB’s successor organizations.
Of course, the conventional wisdom is that communism is dead and that the genesis of the most dangerous terror organizations in the world today is to be found in Islam. Our recent exposure of the terror network in the pages of The New American shows otherwise.
And the upcoming fall speaking tour by our CEO Art Thompson will show otherwise as well.
We encourage members to bring our recent articles on terrorism to the attention of prospects — both to encourage them to hear Art’s speech and to provide additional information. The list follows:
August 3 issue:
• “The Lies That Bind” by William F. Jasper
Is communism dead? For the past 25 years, Soviet defector Anatoliy Golitsyn has been publicly warning the West against acceptance of this deadly illusion.
August 17:
• ‘Terrorist Targeting of Police” by William F. Jasper
The global terror network launched by the Soviet KGB in the 1960s, now dressed in jihadist garb, continues a decades-long war against law enforcement in the non-communist world.
• “Communism Still Stands in the Stans” by Thomas R. Eddlem
The former Soviet Republics of Central Asia continue as totalitarian dictatorships, but have won Western aid by portraying themselves as allies in the war against terror.
• “Who Needs Enemies?” by Charles Scaliger
Triple Cross, by investigative journalist Peter Lance, is a detailed telling of al-Qaeda’s attempts to attack America, and the U.S. government’s interagency rivalries, turf wars, internal coverups, and incompetence that led to U.S. failures to stop al-Qaeda.
August 31:
• “No State Sponsors, No Terror” by William F. Jasper
For 30 years Iran has been the leading state sponsor of global terror — with Syria, Cuba, and North Korea as helpmates. But behind them have been the terror masters of the Soviet KGB, and its renamed successor, the Russian FSB.
September 14:
• “The Soviet Roots of Terrorism” by Thomas R. Eddlem
Scratch any “Islamic” terrorist group worldwide and you will find the ever-present and indispensable Soviet-Russian intelligence services.
• “Lords of Chaos: The Kremlin’s Arms Merchants” by Patrick Krey
Moscow’s merchants of death arm terrorist groups and foment violent anarchy, fueling the call for global gun control and expanded UN powers to deal with the chaos.
September 28:
• “KGB/FSB: The ‘Game’ Remains the Same” by William F. Jasper
Two decades after the supposed collapse of communism, the Russian FSB and SVR continue the KGB’s same deadly program of world revolution.
(We are planning to make these and other materials available at our new website — ExposingTerrorism.com.)
