Special session is the last chance for the Criminal Trespass Bill PDF Print E-mail

I have learned that the Governor is going to call a special session of the legislature on Monday to deal with the budget crisis.  Arizona's illegal alien crisis is certainly an integral part of the budget crisis, so I hope that she will push for the Criminal Trespass Bill.  I made a second call to her office, and sent the following e-mail:

Dear Governor Brewer:

I urge you to submit the Criminal Trespass Bill to the special session of the legislature that you are going to call to deal with the budget crisis.  It is imperative that Arizona act quickly to induce our population of illegal aliens to pack up their families and leave our state.

In 2006, over half the babies born in Arizona were paid for by AHCCCS.  About one on four Arizonans receives health care from that source.  Arizona's social services are already swamped by low-income illegal aliens and their [often] large families.

We are broke as a state now.  We will be even more broke if Congress passes another mass amnesty.  Legalized aliens would then have even more claim on our state's social services than they do now, through their American born children.

Arizona's taxpayers cannot carry this burden anymore.  Our government has got to stand up to business interests and ethnic pressure groups and do what is right for the law abiding residents of Arizona.  Please let me know where you stand on this vital issue.

Sincerely,

John Lyon
