According to the American Bar Association website- http://www.abanet.org/publiced/hispanic_s.html- I'm to understand that this lady is a member of La Raza. Though she may only be so out of some sense of solidarity with the Hispanic population of the U.S.- her membership in "The Race" club is troubling, for this organization has, and continues to push for tax breaks and driver licenses for illegals, and police non-inforcement against illegal aliens for the commission of various crimes in the name of strengthening "migration" ties with the United States. La Raza itself has strong ties to groups that advocate for the territorial overthrow of this country in the name of returning various parts of its southwest to Mexico. Is this the kind of vision Judge Sotomayor has? If so, and it remains to be seen, then she need not apply for David Souter's soon-to-be vacant chair.
