Reply to "Dad" about search engines

I use "ixquick.com" It's a good search engine and does not save your info. There are other sites called "anonymizers" that hide all your info, allowing you to surf undetected, supposedly. Read this short article to see how they do that: "http://www.livinginternet.com/i/is_anon_work.htm" Ultimately You are responsible for your own security. - Landon

Alternative to Google

I use Google as my home page, I think it is a fantastic resource and information tool. I find it very disturbing to find that they would so easily cowtow to the communist chinese government. I hold with great suspicion my own privacy using them, and I would like to boycot the as a search engine, as I have Bing ( for other reasons). Does anyone know of a reasonable alternative to Google as a general use search engine? I know there used to be quite a selection, I'm not sure what's available anymore. - Dad

In case no one realized it, was pure sarcasm. I fully believe that the censorship is already here in many oh-so-subtle forms that we may not, yet, fully realize. - D. Whitehead

Big Brother and the Ministry of Truth

The internet crackdown will come here if we don't expose our own secret government and soon, ie: Arhcitects and Engineers for 911 truth, Aaron Russo's statement that Nick Rockefeller told him of the coming 911 plot.
911 Revisited, etc.

The only truth left on these difficult "Coming of Big Brother" issues is on the internet. If we don't act soon, they will secretly take over all control. As Orwell said, " The one who control's the present control's the past." - Thomas Paine

Make sure to keep sleeping, keep looking the other way and by all means don't worry about it. It could NEVER happen here, ha? - D. Whitehead
