Health Care Reform

This is a travesty the way they are approaching the problem. Instead of Health Care Reform why don't they give the problem back to those that created it. Like the Insurance industry and the AMA. I would like to follow the money received for premiums by the Insurance industry to see what happens to the money. If its being invested I would like to see what it was invested into and what return they received on the investment if any. I have my doubts that they invested in safe investments and probably got involved in more risky investments. Like we haven't seen enough people taken that way!!! I would also like to see the AMA do a better job of regulating doctors that have had their liscense to practice revoked in one state only to find them practicing in another state. If the doctor has had his liscense revoked in one state it should apply to all the others as well. This could eliminate the high cost of insuring doctors by getting rid of those that fail to perform. Less lawsuits, better health care and lower costs could be the result. The insurance industry and the AMA have created this let them fix their mess. If they don't, then turn it into a non-profit agency that is not government ran and go from there. This is the only way to provide the incentive to the insurance industry to get the job done. If they don't perform then they loose out on the health care insurance. I know what happened when the government took over the Mustang Ranch. They went broke selling booze and hookers in a state where both were legal. - Larry in WA

RESIST unlawful authority

Plan A and Plan B are simply to assuage folks that there really is any debate among Congressmen and listening to constituents. Government takeover is a foregone conclusion; they are just setting out the propaganda necessary to assuage "the public" to lessen the outcry.

NO JURISDICTION = unlawful.

Therefore, how to courageously resist this when it comes is now the question to consider carefully. That is standing for true law.

(However, in hope against hope, I do still write to Congress, and attend/picket my Town Hall meeting! If they see sufficient resistance, they may pull back - next year has elections!)

Heard on TV Sunday morning August 16 - - -

My Mom was watching some tv program this morning. It was apparently a Town Hall meeting somewhere about the health care thing. Obama was participating. Some man made comments about cost and who was going to pay. Obama said: "You're right, I can't cover etc., etc.". "I""????? That single letter word tells me all I need to know about his mindset. "I"? Whose money it it anyway? It certainly does NOT belong to him. You know, the office of the president of these United States had been on a severe downhill slide ever since Ronald Regan. Each one since Reagan has been successively more wretched and more unfit. I thought that filthy pig Clinton was the worst, but now I'm not so sure. Where do these awful creeps come from? Some corner of hell? Is there no end of them? I still think Thomas Jefferson was the last good and truly Constitutional president this nation had. - danwhitehead1
