during the November 17th White House briefing, Mike Froman also asserted, "Prime Minister Rasmussen [of Denmark] came to Singapore on Sunday and had breakfast with the APEC leaders and laid out his plan for the Copenhagen process. President Obama spoke in support of Prime Minister Rasmussen's plan, and there was a widespread consensus among the leaders there that the aim should not be a partial accord or just a political declaration, but an accord that covers all the main areas of the negotiations and HAD IMMEDIATE OPERATIONAL EFFECT, EVEN AS NEGOTIATIONS TOWARDS A LEGAL AGREEMENT CONTINUE" (emphasis added). Please notice that neither Froman nor anyone at this press conference is calling the goal of the Copenhagen conference a "treaty." Instead, they are calling it an "accord," an "agreement," or (later on) a "process." That's because they're afraid that the American people might wake up if they call it a "treaty." Let us assume that Froman is telling the truth about the Obama administration's intentions and that Obama proceeds to implement this "agreement" without seeking Senate ratification. If we elect a Congress with a constitutional backbone in November 2010, as soon as the new Congress is sworn in January 2011, Mr. Obama should be immediately impeached and swiftly convicted, based on his flagrant violation of his oath of office and his treasonous disregard of the constitutional requirements for the passage and subsequent implementation of any treaty.
