On March 4 Senators John McCain (R-Ariz) and Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) introduced a bill entitled “The Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention and Prosecution Act of 2010.” If you thought some of the legislation introduced and passed by Congress under Bush II was scary, then in the ...
Abraham Lincoln once asked an audience how many legs a dog has, if you called the tail a leg? When the audience said "five," Lincoln corrected them, saying that the answer was four. "The fact that you call a tail a leg does not make ...
In 2007 when global warming extremism was at its zenith with few questioning the now-debunked data and junk science used to come to certain climatic conclusions, Wisconsin’s Governor Jim Doyle established a global warming task force. That task force then created the Clean Energy Committee ...
Several decades ago, conservative scholar Russell Kirk made the observation:
In essence, the conservative person is simply one who finds the permanent things more pleasing than Chaos and Old Night. (Yet conservatives know, with Burke, that healthy “change is the means of our preservation.”) A people’s ...
A woman with a petition went among the crowds attending a state fair, asking people to sign her petition demanding the banning of dihydroxymonoxide. She said it was in our lakes and streams, and now it was in our sweat and urine and tears.

The legislator most responsible for bringing comprehensive immigration reform — the law-and-order kind — to the Sooner State presses on.
State Rep. Randy Terrill, a Republican member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, has authored a bill — Quality of Education Assessment for Oklahoma Citizens Act ...
The way the bill is written, the President could deem anyone an enemy belligerent for whatever reason the state dictates. This is a dangerous bill that compromises the rights of the people to such a degree that has been unprecedented in our nation's great history.

Are you required by law to answer all the questions on the 2010 Census forms? What are the potential fines if you decide not to?
Article 1, Section 2 of the Constitution of the United States requires that an "enumeration" shall be conducted every ten years "in a manner as [Congress] shall by law direct." The 14th Amendment to the Constitution states that the enumeration shall consist of "counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed."
The following is the text of a special communiqué to thePresident of the United Statesfrom a self-described “retard” which more or less speaks for itself:

The “manmade global warming” hypothesis involves essentially three questions. First: “has there been a clear global warming trend? Second: “if so, has human activity significantly caused the trend?” And third: “ if human activity has caused global warming, what should be done about it?”
Ever since the JBS Co-Sponsored the 2010 CPAC Convention, that self described "cross-dressing LESBIAN" on BS-NBC has been vomiting all over us. And then she had the gall to attend the convention herself ...
The John Birch Society (JBS) the Constitution Party and the Oath Keepers got singled out for an attack as "hate groups," groups that are supposedly dangerous, hate-filled organizations. The accusations came on a March 3, 2010 MSNBC program featuring a Mr. Dylan Ratiganas the show's host. The JBS was accused of hating the government.
I have received a number of e-mails from "ernie" regarding the view that Robert Welch had regarding Dwight Eisenhower. The claim that "Ike" was a conscious tool of the Communist conspiracy seemed extreme to me before I read the book. After reading _The Politician_, however, I have concluded that Welch was right. He made his case against Eisenhower and then some.
On page 291 Welch aptly writes, "...the fundamentally decent American mind simply refuses to recognize the kind of enemy with which we now have to deal." I hope that the American public soon will be able to get its collective head around the idea that some of our most trusted and admired public figures may be trojan horses. _The Poltiician_ is a must-read for every American, in my view.
Main Street America spoke September 12, 2009 in Washington DC – “NO Government run Health Care”. The reforms currently being considered have no Constitutional merit. There must be NO Health Care Reform from this Congress. The ulterior motives are all too obvious. Vote NO to Health Care Reform, NO to Cap and Trade = energy tax, NO to Food Safety Act = food control, NO to amnesty for illegal aliens, NO on any and all legislation designed to undermine and dissolve the sovereignty of the peoples’ liberty, our Nation, or its Constitution.
Control is not an enumerated power to Legislative, Executive, or Judicial branches by the founders. Regulation of commerce simply means that Congress should ensure that commerce between States not be interrupted or embargoed. Congress has for many decades over-reached its power by creating legislation to control commerce. This must be corrected.
Please be advised that this was written in 2007. Please note that this a great histroy lesson. Thank You -Havik

Before I begin this installment I want to make something very clear from the very beginning. This issue of the Gazing Eye like all other issues is not intended to offend anyone in anyway, shape and/or form. I honor the victims of the tragic attacks of 9/11 and the servicemen should be honored and remembered. So without further ado let's get started.
There's an old western movie The Ox-Bow Incident that was shot in 1943 but its message still is as pertinent today as it was in 1943 or the 19th century west. It has a message- It's in a letter written by Donald Martin and read by Gil Carter in a saloon:
".....You can't take the law into your own hands and hang people without hurting people in the world 'cause then he isn't just breaking one law but all laws.
"The law is a lot more than words you put on a book, or judges, lawyers and sheriffs you hire to carry it out - it's everything people have ever found out about justice and what's right and wrong. It's the very conscience of humanity.
"There can't be any such thing as civilization unless people have a conscience. 'Cause if people touch God anywhere, where is it except through their conscience? And what is conscience except a little piece of the conscience of all men that ever lived?"
Newbie actors Dana Andrews and Anthony Quinn and "veteran" silent movie era actor/ director Francis Ford, play the part of three men caught one night by a possee of towns people who take the law into their own hands. The posse votes "democratically" to hang 3 men without benefit of a trial. Young cowboy Gil Carter (Henry Fonda) tries to defend their rights to a trial, but is rebuffed by "majority rule."
The William Wellman directed movie was selected by the Library of congress for preservation in the national film registry. 535 Congressmen, President and vice-president as well as 9 Supreme Court Judges and the Attorney General should watch Oxbow Incident. Then write a letter on what the movie's message conveys to them. My guess is that the majority would write:
"The world changed after 9-11. God-given rights are out. Now we , (meaning the state) decides which "person" has "rights."

Please do all you can to insure that federal stimulus money is spent with American companies whenever possible. I feel that the provision for that should not have been removed from the stimulus bill, regardless of foreign opposition.
America has consistently run annual balance of payments deficits with the rest of the world since the late 1960s. In recent years, the deficit has been in the area of $800 billion each year.
As our money has left our country, so has our manufacturing base, along with the good paying, steady jobs it provided for many millions of Americans over many years. Combined with the steady tide of immigrants the federal government has allowed to flow into America over the last 4 decades, the gutting of our industrial sector has put immense downward pressure on compensation for working class Americans.
It is about darned time that Congress started looking out for the American people, instead of pandering to corporate interests and international banksters. This recession is not over. I could not long survive if I became unemployed. I hope you will stand up to the WTO and anyone else who thinks that the American taxpayers do not have a right to spend stimulus money with American companies.
More than a year after President Barack Obama took office, the American economy continues to shed jobs. If the president wants to spend our way out of this recession, it might help if taxpayers dollars appropriated for stimulus projects were spent with American companies. I went to the White House website (whitehouse.gov) and sent the following e-mail:
The best way to create jobs with federal money is to ensure that funds are spent with American companies. I was shocked last year when foreign countries complained about legislation that called for that. America has been carrying the rest of the world's economies on her back for years, with massive balance of payments deficits. It's time for a change!
