Global Warming Has Overlooked South Africa PDF Print E-mail

In another newsworthy item, South Africa is experiencing its coldest night on record — in the spring time.

The U.S. media's coverage? Crickets. Not even chirping ones.

A surprise snowfall has transformed parts of "KwaZulu-Natal ... into a 'winter wonderland'," reports the Independent Online.

The Online also states: "Temperatures plummeted into the low teens, with residents of Kokstad and Giants Castle waking up to 0C," and "Durban experienced its coldest September night in recorded history on Friday night."

Meanwhile, the U.S. press continues to prostrate before the altar of junk science, uttering headlines in reverenced tones of concern about impending environmental disaster supposedly caused by man-made global warming.

The Detroit Free Press dutifully regurgitated dire warnings from "scientists" about Arctic Sea ice shrinkage, claiming:

The ice covered 1.74 million square miles on Friday, marking a low point for this summer, according to NASA and the National Snow and Ice Data Center in Boulder, Colo.

Last summer, the sea ice covered only 1.59 million square miles, the lowest since record-keeping began in 1979.
