On The New American web site, I find no direct link to the JBS web site.
Under "Our Affiliates" is listed an unlinked reference to JBS. Under that is a linked "Join The JBS". If this is the only link, someone might be intimidated to join an organization they know nothing about.
How about a link to the JBS home page, embedded in the words, "Discover The John Birch Society"?

I think you have done a very good job with the New Website. I only just joined so I can't compare to the old one. I joined the site out of interest in the concepts the organization stands for, but imagine my surprise when I learned that you are using a CMS that I've been developing websites with for about 5 years now, with some of the newest and best social networking components and modules installed.
I look forward to using the site, and offer my assistance should you need it, although from the looks of things, you're doing a bang up job!

Eric,
Glad to have you on board.
You'll be seeing many more neat things coming out over the next several months.

Thanks Julie for the navigation hints to get from the TNA web site to the JBS web site.
I still much prefer a less subtle approach such as mentioned before. i.e., (a link to the JBS home page, embedded in the words, "Discover The John Birch Society" or something of that sort)
I don't think we can afford the time for people to discover the JBS-we must introduce ourselves. As we say in sales and marketing: "You have to ask for the business".

Thanks again Julie.
I just believe that the TNA web site and the JBS web site complement each other so well that together thay are more powerful than the sum of the parts. Viewers of the TNA site benefit from the content of the JBS web site, which should lead to increased viewer activity and membership.
