Immigration Crisis Exposes Failed Central America Program

August 22, 2014

JBS CEO Art Thompson’s weekly news video update for September 1 – 7, 2014.

In this week’s analysis behind the news video, JBS CEO Art Thompson discusses how the children’s illegal immigration crisis, in which Central American children are supposedly fleeing to the United States in response to drug cartels, gangs, all sorts of violence, etc., exposes our nation’s failed Central America Regional Security Initiative, which has cost us $642 million since 2008; how no government program since 1933 has ever solved the problem it was designed to solve; and how the guidelines for the recently negotiated CETA (Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement) agreement between the European Union and Canada reveal that this agreement affirms that human rights come from government not God, which differs fundamentally from our American system of government, and in turn serves to remind us of some of the reasons why we oppose these free trade agreements.
