A recently uploaded YouTube video showed a North Carolina teacher telling a student that disrespecting President Obama is a criminal offense.
Chen Guangcheng, the Chinese pro-life dissident who suffered years of abuse and imprisonment at the hands of Beijing’s communist government for exposing its cruel one-child abortion policy, has been given his freedom. Chen, his wife, and their two children landed at Newark Airport in Jersey May 12, and were immediately whisked to New York City, where Chen spoke to a crowd at New York University (NYU), briefly recounting his ordeal and renewing his commitment to battle the tyranny and injustice he and millions of others have suffered under China’s repressive government.

Outrageous examples in the United States of the misuse of civil asset forfeiture laws — whereby government officials confiscate money, though the people carrying the cash have done nothing wrong — include that of a man pulled over for speeding in Tennessee who nearly lost $22,000.
Texas Congressman Ron Paul emerged from the Minnesota state Republican Party convention in St. Cloud with a clean sweep, winning nearly all of the national convention delegates available for his presidential campaign in addition to a party endorsement of the Paul-aligned U.S. Senate candidate Kurt Bills.
For 16 years Barack Obama's literary agency touted him as "born in Kenya." Supposedly "this was nothing more than a fact checking error." Mistake or not, the President is simply not telling the truth.
A new Government Accountability Office (GAO) study, commissioned by Sen. Tom Coburn (Okla.), is questioning the federal government’s $18-billion job training program.
