JBS President John McManus struck many responsive chords with the estimated 12,000 attendees of Ron Paul's Rally for the Republic on Sept. 2.
His main theme was the Constitution and how we need to get Congress to adhere to it.
About halfway through his 15-minute speech, he held up the Constitution and stated: "Nor will you find in here any authorization for the Federal Reserve.... And what do we do about the Federal Reserve?" The crowd instantly began its favorite chant of the entire Rally, "End the Fed. End the Fed."
After the chanting died down, McManus answered his own question, "I think you all know Congress created it.... Which means that Congress can abolish it!" The crowd responded to this with approval.
John McManus's entire speech is available on YouTube in the two segments shown below.
