John F. McManus, publisher of The New American magazine, president of The John Birch Society and lifelong student of the U.S. Constitution, confirms his scheduled appearance at the New Hampshire Liberty Forum on Sunday, January 6, at Noon. He will be speaking during the closing ceremonies directly before Congressman and Presidential candidate Ron Paul.

McManus’ presentation — entitled "What About the Constitution?" — will discuss the solid ground on which the United States of America was formed, how we have gotten away from the Founding Fathers’ vision of America, and what we can do to return to the vision.

McManus writes in his speech, "Anyone who understands the Constitution knows that it’s not a free pass to do whatever government wants. It established government with very few powers. And the Constitution then stresses this point in the Bill of Rights. You know the Bill of Rights. It says Congress shall not, shall not, shall not – all the way up to the marvelous Tenth Amendment that says if we forgot anything, you can’t do that either … It’s time to get back to the Constitution."

The speech can be read in its entirety online at The New American’s website.

The Liberty Forum is a three day convention focusing on successful political and social action in New Hampshire. Attendees will learn about the Free State Project, meet its participants, and get to understand their goals and how they can work together. More information can be found at the Forum’s website.
