Had a good conversation with state senator Rusty Glover from Mobile last week. He continues to be very frustrated by the actions of both the House and Senate Rules Committees as the bottle up every piece of conservative legislation that is proposed. The 10th Amendment resolution has been entered every session for the last several sessions according to Rusty and they just can't get it out of committee and onto the floor for a vote. He feels strongly that the climate is changing in the state as it has in the nation and that we have hope of several new legislative seats for conservatives in 2010. In the meantime, he is still pushing the 10th Amendment.

I just reactivated my membership after several years. We live in Mobile (Lower Alabama) and happy to report that Chapter activity here is very good. Membership is growing. Involvement is increasing.
