Description:
THE FOUNTAIN:
will focus on sharing information and stories of members' recruitment and activism efforts. In addition our newer members will have the benefit of the wealth of knowledge and experience gained over the years by our veteran members. This wisdom and experience is valuable in avoiding the pitfalls and traps set for "conservatives" by the establishment. Therefore The Fountain will provide newer members the benefit of what the veteran JBS members have learned over the course of their many years of being "in the trenches."

Check out what other JBS members are using as recruitment "hooks" to get people interested in The JBS.
From our pool of experience, wisdom springs forth.

Below is a simple way to use a story at The New American online magazine to reachout to your Christian friends and family:::"Hi, ....,I thought I’d send you this story about the students at a Georgia school who want to keep God and His Bible in school butSchool administrators are more afraid of  being sued from the likes of the ACLU  than they are fearful of God.  It is a sad state of affairs that we don’t have school administrators that won't  bend at the slightest threat of a law suit. The local community is defending God which is a good sign. http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/culture/education/2028-georgia-school-sidelines-bible-verses Sincerely,===LeePS:I am a member of this community where we appreciate that our “natural Rights”, which include freedom of religion are God given: Be sure to view the lessons on God Given rights at  http://www.jbs.org/jbs-communityThe first learning video lesson is here: http://www.jbs.org/news-center/birchtube/107-FP03+Philosophy+Of+Freedom+I+GodGiven+Rights+48+min?userid=95   "This is just an example of using our online story at TNA as a "hook" to introduce friends and family, or to strangers, to the JBS community where they can find a wealth of innformation like our FREEDOM PROJECT seminars.

Lee,

Thanks for getting this set up.

As soon as someone makes the next JBS group, your fountain picture is going to start showing up at postage stamp size in the Community area.

If that happens before you come up with something that will be viewable, try this one:

A good tag line might be: "From our pool of experience, wisdom springs forth"

In today's replies to e-mails, I have posted several URL addresses for NEW AMERICAN articles related to the topic in the emails. Also on Facebook, a writer for NEWSMAX whom I was friends with in Las Vegas years ago linked up with me. I mentioned the Law of the Sea Treaty and he asked me for an update. Rather than typing a long explanation I searched on the www.thenewamerican.com website and got him the address for the latest JBS article on the topic and posted that to his wall on facebook. The more our articles get onto the Internet the more they will circulate and our publication will become known. The more our credible point of view gains exposure, the more the public will be swayed by it.

Yes, Lee, thanks for starting this group. And thanks, Michele411 for your thoughts.

There are so many "hungry" folks out there that it should not be difficult to set the hooks and reel them in.

Please share any brainstorms and keep the ideas flowing this way.

I am so glad that you had this idea and started the group! Thank you.
What I have found to work in the past is for people to hear speakers like John McManus in person. They are calm and credible.

What I need to learn is that even though people might believe the facts everyone reacts differently, and I have to be okay with that. If total involvement for some is clicking send on a JBS letter to Congress, well its better than nothing, it makes our numbers look more impressive to our Reps and its one less on the other side.

So this time around I am going to try to remember that everyone that hears and understands the truth is a win for our side, they may do much or nothing at all with it. We don't know which person we speak with will make the biggest differences. So handing info to the pest guy might be one of the best things you do that day. You never know.

Thanks again for starting this.
Michele
