If anybody is interested, there is a great book that can be ordered on Bob Enyart's wepsite; "Bob Enyart Live" or Kgov.com. The title of the book is "The Harsh Turth About Public Schools" by Bruce N. Short.
Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a brand new Bircher and am planning to start homeschooling this spring. We live in Meridian, ID - anybody close by?
Just finished reading "Revolution via Education" by Sam Blumenfeld. From the preface: "In these essays I have tried to show how our country has been in the throes of an ongoing socialist revolution since the turn of the last century. And it has been engineered by real people with real names who consider themselves to be Americans but who have been doing all in their power to change the form of government given us by our Founding Fathers. The two major underpinnings of a socialist, ungodly, controlled society are public education and the income tax. We shall not be a free people until we get rid of both institutions." This book is not for the faint of heart. It's a wake up call to the church to make certain and deliberate steps to raising up a generation of Kingdom-builders.
that is wonderful harpchild!! i was homeschooled all 12 yrs myself and am now homeschooling my own kids! it is a great feeling! glad you made it through college and still support homeschooling! lol :)
I was homeschooled all but 2 years. I wasn't too happy about it when I was a kid, but I sure appreciated it when I got to college and found out how superior my education was to people taught by the public school system!
