THE FOUNTAIN: will focus on sharing information and stories of members' recruitment and activism efforts. In addition our newer members will have the benefit of the wealth of knowledge and experience gained over the years by our veteran members. This wisdom and experience is valuable in avoiding the pitfalls and traps set for "conservatives" by the establishment. Therefore The Fountain will provide newer members the benefit of what the veteran JBS members have learned over the course of their many years of being "in the trenches." This is not just a group - it is a team. We will be getting together people who are enthusiastic about making the JBS message more available on the internet, through social media and any way that is publically available. We will be at least in weekly contact, preferably on Skype, perhaps we can have a few conference calls at everyone's convenience. We shall set well-defined goals and invent inovative strategies. We will be playing the game as if our life dependend on it, because it does. And, we'll be having fun. A side benefit is that we will be exchanging computer knowledge, tips and tricks. You don't have to be a computer expert, we won't be doing anything technical, but you do need to have a willingness to play the game. I've been in IT for 25 years, so I'll be happy to support anyone with computer issues.

THE NORTHWEST ORDINANCE and THE RELIGION OF AMERICA In 1787 the same congress that ratified the Constitution, were the ones that encouraged Religion, morality, and knowledge,being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged... The purpose of Seperation of Church and State was not to seperate God from education and government but rather to prevent the government from embracing any one particular religion as has happened historically. Regarding Religion and Education the question was then naturally asked "whos religion"? Religion, Morality and Knowledge was the anchor of the American Culture from 1620 to 1936. The Founders did not create rights. They re-discovered them and realized there were no devine right of kings, rights were a gift from God to all men. Samuel Adams said -"This is the religion of America.... Ben Franklin said "These are the fundamentals of all sound religion..... Here are the 5 things that all sound religions have in common.... 1. There exists a creator who made all things and mankind should recognize and worship him. 2. The creator has revealed a moral code of behavior for happy living which distinguishes right from wrong. 3. The creator holds mankind responsible for the way they treat each other. 4. All mankind live beyond this life. 5.In the next life individuals are judged for their conduct in this one. These are the uniting principles of morality that were to be taught in schools and was mandated by congress. It was not until the demise of McGuffy Readers that Religion and Morality were abandoned in our schools to be replaced by a content of trivia and amusement.

The purpose of this campaign is to preserve our unique life of freedom and prosperity as secured by the U.S. Constitution by creating sufficient grassroots pressure to make Congress vote according to the Constitution. We will focus on local and state issues, while always keeping a close eye and ear on the federal circus. This group will be for open and lively debate on all issues. This is an informal group designed to provide guidance to those living for Christ, especially in consideration of the times that we are living. This group has been formed first and foremost to honor our Lord and Savior. Secondly to aid in carrying forth our Christian lifestyle, and the engaging of the culture in such ways as to encourage the return to our governing documents as intended by our founding fathers. Finally the group hopes to provide discussion on the Biblical parameters within whose boundaries we must operate as it relates to organizing, voting, promoting, and if needed possibly even resistance.

Our purpose is to: 1. Work together to influence and support, where appropate, our Local, County, State, and National elected officials and their staff, as well as the opinion molders on all levels of government to: (a) bring about less government, more responsibility, and-- with God's help-- a better world; (b) Preserving Individual Rights and National Independence; and (c) Restoring the Constitution of the United States. 2. Evaluate our elected officials, from Local and National elected, based on: (a) how they voteing record on issues based on the United States Constitution, (b) to determine if our they are keeping the Oath of Office they took to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States aginst all enemies, foreign and domestic. . . .” 3. Unify the Utah Chapters of the John Birch Society so we are a support to each other.
