Council Member (Still) in Action
Birching Naturally
by Warren Mass
Remember Ray Clark, a member of the Society's National Council, whose story was told two Bulletins ago? Well, we heard that he has been up to even more than Larry Waters let on last time, so we caught Ray between orders of vitamins and minerals on one hand and classic conservative books on the other.
Ray was particularly excited about the robust sales of books dealing with some very weighty subject matter — not only Shadows of Power and The Creature from Jekyll Island, as mentioned last time, but Road to Socialism and Professor Carroll Quigley's 1,348-page Tragedy and Hope. Bear in mind that Clark's Nutritional Centers are primarily venders of vitamins, mineral, herbs, and natural foods, so selling books abut the history of the federal reserve or the Conspiracy is really quite an accomplishment. We confess we had to chuckle when checking the book list on Clark's website and found The Creature From Jekyll Island sandwiched between The Complete Organic Pregnancy and The Culture Wise Family!
An employee of Clark's with artistic talent made an attractive sign to promote the Americanist books, which has helped to interest customers in them and increase sales
With his many customers improving their minds as well as their bodies using all of the vitamins and nutritional products, they are sure to achieve the goal expressed by the Roman poet, Juvenal: Mens sana in corpore sano — A sound mind in a healthy body!
