Media mentions continue to be brisk, given the media’s penchant to throw around the JBS name when writing that the conservative movement needs another William Buckley to help lead the movement as well as purge the 9/11 truthers, birthers, etc., from the movement.  Beware of the “journalists” who confuse fact with opinion and who like to broad-brush entire groups of people because of the actions of a few.

A number of articles also mentioned JBS when covering local Tea Party events.

But one of the most viewed and posted JBS videos within the last month has been that of a compilation of Robert Welch’s speeches at the JBS Council Dinner in Los Angeles on March 9, 1974. As of this writing, according to the online search engine Google, more than 1,200 web sites have either posted the video or mentioned it.  While the video at the JBS YouTube site has garnered nearly 32,000 views, other YouTube users have posted it too … one even grabbing 70,000 views!

The video has been showing up in a number of places on the web as well as in the email in-boxes of members across the country, who forward them to us. Many of the videos seem to retain the entirety of the original video we posted, and many are renamed. The most successful is renamed “Mind blowing speech by Robert Welch in 1958 predicting Insiders plans to destroy America.”

Many more people are beginning to appreciate the wisdom of Robert Welch. This has only strengthened our efforts to digitize many of our old videos.  Watch for new products in the coming months. Recently we have been asked to provide footage of speeches by Robert Welch for a museum in Texas, as well as for a documentary by Fox News, so the digitized video content will be used for various publicity avenues, too.
