"Conservative" talk radio icon has multi-NFL stadiums chock-full of fans who see him as a Paladin that battles the enemies of America - the liberals" and "progressives" on his fictitious EIB network. However, such adoration of the "conservative" radio icon is misplaced in this conservative’s opinion due to the fact that he really hasn't battled the real enemy of America in his over 20 years of being on the airwaves. He’s been conducting a side show with the water carriers and leaving the field wide open for the “establishment” that controls both opposing teams. Rush has yet to mention on the EIB network that the game is fixed at the top and on the few occasions that he spotlights such things as Cap and Trade and calls it anti-free enterprise and a taxing scam, he blames only the “liberal” wing of the Democrat Party and withholds an equal part of the blame for environmental overkill on Republicans. Wasn’t it Richard Nixon who with his “executive pen” created the EPA? And where do environmentalists get their inspiration to attack America’s free market from? How about from the United Nations and UN-associated treaties?
It is these meatier portions that genuine conservatives would like to hear and learn on his EIB network and not have to endure boring squabbles between Waxman and Boehner. That is why I am perplexed as to the behavior of my conservative friends over this man's latest controversy. To me the man has failed to live up to the label of being a true warrior for the conservative cause and has instead chosen the safer “establishment” conservative route. He hasn't been battling anything but shadows and pretending that America's fight for freedom is between "progressives" and Conservatives, or Republicans versus Democrats. Plainly, it just isn't that simple.
Let me explain it this way: Children are put to bed by mom and dad with a bed time story. It's a mutual understanding between parent and child that the stories are made up to serve their primary purpose- to put the child to sleep. Likewise American "conservative" talk radio has its fairy tale spinners too. Conservatives have gotten all emotionally wrapped up in the controversy surrounding the story of Rush Limbaugh and the controversial topic of racism and grown men's sports and have failed to see that the story behind the story has yet to be told by the bearer of the “golden mic.” Established radio icon Rush Limbaugh thrives in the limelight of controversy because it's good for his ratings. In his latest controversy with the media, and the added twist with the NFL, Mr. Limbaugh gets to play Errol Flynn against the king's henchmen. The melodrama of the beleaguered “conservative” talk show host battling the forces of liberaldom does have its moments but what if Rush had been an out of the closet “liberal” who wore a cowboy hat tilted back on his head, and chewed gum while talking trash into a microphone? Wasn’t Don Imus sent to the woodshed for his remarks concerning members of a women’s sports team? In this "politically correct" world charges of racism (false or not) brought on by a race baiting organization can ruin or damage a rising radio star. Local race baiters went after a local conservative talk show host due to this person’s remarks in connection to a person who crosses a river illegally to enter a country. The moniker is applicable in both directions so it is actually a race neutral or a national neutral term. Europeans didn’t consider the term racist and in fact some years ago I picked up a foreign newspaper whose headline that day had the term emblazoned across the top. Nevertheless, due to race baiters turning a simple act of swimming across a national boundary into a racial slur (and of course only “haters” are racists according to race baiters) this talented person had his microphone snatched away by the “defenders of the first amendment” at the station’s front office. Genuine conservatives don't want bedtime stories told to them. They want their radio warriors to speak to important topics like the United Nations conspiracy and the Federal Reserve conspiracy. These are topics that “El Rushbo” has not spoken about or invited UN experts like William Jasper on his show to explain to his radio audience. Rush has stuck pretty close to politically correct talking points and avoided mentioning who is really behind the "war on terrorism;" how dangerous is the North American Union, what is the Federal Reserve and the Fed’s policies of inflation and ruination of our currency. Rush has avoided the constitutionally correct position on war. The congressionally undeclared wars in Iraq, and in Afghanistan, are unconstitutional. They have hurt the liberties and freedoms of all Americans. Rush’s radio listeners only hear the establishment-approved version that it is a war between islamofascism and America. One has to ask why a particular topic like the “war on terrorism” is not allowed to be discussed by his callers beyond the parameters of a war between al-Qaeda and us, or the Taliban versus US troops. What is wrong with allowing callers to expound upon the history of war itself and using public documentation to connect other actors who stand to gain by the "world-wide war on terrorism?" There is more to terrorism than meets the eye says CEO of The John Birch Society Art Thompson and he could make a stop at the EIB studios while on his fall speaking tour and do some expounding on the subject if invited by Mr.Limbaugh. Free speech and the rights protected in the Constitution under the first amendment assumes that the press and commentators like Rush will be responsible citizens and tell the whole story and not voluntarily keep the “rest of the story” from the ears of their millions of listeners.

"With both hands tied behind his back" Of course, Rush follows the Establishment Center's script! After all, "El Rushbo" has slept in the Lincoln bedroom ... where all sorts of "questionable" dignitaries have spent the night. He knows his place if he wants to stay in the game. |

Ye shall know them by their fruits. For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. - Luke 6:43-45 I have noticed a definite lack of good fruit coming from Rush. He is merely a talking head for the Republicrats. Mr. Limbaugh is very good at tickling ears. (For the astute reader, yes, this comment is a rerun... just thought it might bear repeating.) |

... Russ Limberger, in guarded moments, refers to himself as an "entertainer." He is just a member of the "loyal opposition" to who ever is leading the administration. There is little point in listening to anyone who doesn't at least determine whether or not the people they oppose are members of the CFR or Skull & Bones and tell us. |

Pill Popper The caricature of Rush as the establishment lap dog Gordon Deitrich in V for Vendetta said it all. |
