Nelson Mandela No Hero To Lovers of Freedom A more able television journalist might have pointed out that Justice Hugo Black, one of Warren’s reliable compatriots on the Court, had a history of membership in the odious Ku Klux Klan. If Maddow wanted to condemn racial segregation, she could have targeted Black for his early years of KKK affiliation. Instead, she wrongly attacked The John Birch Society that has always condemned the KKK and its hateful policies. To insist that The John Birch Society opposed Warren because of his role in desegregating the nation’s schools (the Society has always opposed both forced segregation and forced integration) is the kind of misrepresentation that can be expected of someone who relies on sloppy research or is a captive of mind-numbing political correctness. As in many other instances where the Society led in alerting the nation to problems, the organization’s campaign to Impeach Earl Warren sounded an alarm about judicial activism that many in America now recognize as a very serious problem. Did Eisenhower then betray the brave Hungarian Freedom Fighters who revolted against Soviet tyranny at the urging of the U.S. government in 1956? Did his administration even block the plans of other nations to aid the Freedom Fighters? Did Eisenhower and his State Department aid Castro in his takeover of Cuba in 1959 when the bearded revolutionary was known by some, including Robert Welch, to be a communist? The answer to these questions, and many more similar in nature, is an emphatic yes. Of course, it can’t be expected that Rachel Maddow and her handlers would have read the 300 pages of damning evidence showing that Dwight Eisenhower helped communists to take control of and then maintain their domination over nation after nation. (See Robert Welch’s 1963 book, The Politician for the evidence.) Authored by self-proclaimed communists James W. Ford and James S. Allen, the booklet carries the title "The Negroes in a Soviet America.” On page 39 one can read “The Negro Soviet Republic,” followed by details about what they hoped to accomplish. What did the communist publication say? It said that the new Republic sought by the communists “would be certain to include such cities as Richmond and Norfolk, Va., Columbia and Charleston, S.C., Atlanta, Augusta, Savannah and Macon, Georgia, Montgomery, Alabama, New Orleans and Shreveport, La., Little Rock, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee. In the actual determination and boundaries of the new Republic, other industrial cities may be included.” Once again, The John Birch Society, not Rachel Maddow, was correct. 1. In 1949, Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson labeled the Communist Party in America “a conspiratorial and revolutionary junta” while upholding congressional moves that outlawed the Communist Party in the United States. To deny the existence of a communist conspiracy and to ridicule anyone who has made such a claim, as Maddow did on her television program, is absurd. We trust that anyone who now understands how incredibly wrong she is about her numerous claims in this instance will find other sources for their perspective about current events. Let us offer all the alternative of The John Birch Society. Its books, magazines and DVD productions will not mislead anyone and will prove to be very worthwhile alternatives to MSNBC’s factually incorrect, but definitely politically correct, evening commentator. Fairness would dictate that the offer be accepted but it has been ignored. Fairness does not seem to be in vogue at MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow program.
John F. McManus is president of The John Birch Society.

Of course Much of the problem is due to the deliberate dumbing down of several generation by the government (aka:"public") school system. Pigs may fly, but they make very unlikely birds. Left wing "liberal" talking heads may tell colorful tales, but they are seldom truthful. But then, why bother with truth when one can be politically "correct"? Want the truth? Rely on the JBS. |
|
|
P.S. Don't most of the talking heads of the "liberal" left fit into a group the communists used to call (and may still call, for all I know) "useful idiots"? |

Does Maddow have the courage to take on the JBS? Is Maddow afraid of the JBS or will she accept the offer to bring a JBS rep. on to her show? We will see what she is made of. |

John - I will give this response to all who question JBS... Sir, occasionally I have a prospect question JBS as they bring up some faint memory of negative news without any details. From now on I will hand them a hard copy of this response with a smile because you explain it far more eloquently than I ever could. Please keep Maddow's video on the website. It is a great recruiting tool ... ! Take care, Bob... |

John McManus provides a smashing blow to Maddow's lies Kudos to JBS President John McManus for providing a steamroller of crushing debunking of Rachel Maddow's anti-Birch and pro-Communist propaganda sprayed on the nation by the Leftist MSNBC mass medium. Because of my membership in the JBS since 1976, I remember all of the evidence McManus provided. The JBS is like an elephant who never forgets. The "elephant" is its research department containing its huge file system of investigative data. The JBS is our only hope for restoring our Nation to the condition its founders intended. |

RE: GREAT SPIN @Frederick Ingram. You indicated you could do your own research and such research has led you to the conclusion that the JBS is "pretty far out there on the right fringes." Please elaborate. Which issues are you referring to, and what research have you found to lead you to these conclusions. I'm not trying to attack you. I am open minded, and everything I read and learn about the JBS leads me to believe they are a freedom loving organization supportive of the constitution, and of the proper role of government as defined by the constitution. Please also indicate your interpretation of the "right" as this term means different things to different people. Specifically what are the JBS interpretations of the constitution that are incorrect and why? |

umm so..... So i'm quite new to this site and find it very intriguing, can't put my finger on what side, if any, this site is taking, right, left, up or down. Having said that, are there no right wing "talking heads" in the media? (thats a rhetorical question) I am no fan of this Rachel Maddow, or for that matter most of what some say is a liberal controlled media, but its pretty equal on both sides. To say that one faction of politics (left or right, lib or conservative) are the "useful idiots", is quite funny to me, personally I've found most of them on the right. Miss Maddow is no different than any other talking head on fox news, just a different numbered channel. I cant claim any side of politics anymore because all sides (to me) have abandoned what the constitution/America is about; Freedom, liberty and Justice for all....... well not for long, and i dont care what party is in charge neither have done anything good for this country in a long time. I cant wait for Builderbuger to thin out our would population, hopefully i'll be one of the lucky ones!!! |

To: 1,2,3 NOT IT "Maddow is no different than any other talking head on fox news" "I cant claim any side of politics anymore because all sides (to me) have abandoned what the constitution/America is about;" You seem to have arrived at at the same conclusion the JBS arrived at over 50 years ago. The purpose of the JBS (and this site) is to EXPOSE the very thing you are talking about. Carroll Quigley wrote in "Tragedy & Hope", pages 1247-1248: "Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can 'throw the rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy." |

... if the JBS would issue a anti gay statement your representative would be on Maddows Show in a flash. |

... Yes, and of course, after Nelson Mandela came to power in South Africa, he turned it into a Communist, Terrorist regime. Oh, hang on. |
