Clark L. Curry was born in Oklahoma City in 1947. Always a proud “Sooner,” he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma. Upon graduation, he immediately found employment in the insurance industry from which he has never departed. Now the president of Curry Insurance Agency, he has frequently taken time from a busy professional schedule to assist at Robert Welch University’s week-long summer camp program.

His efforts were critically important in keeping the Oklahoma legislature from ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment. Later, his personal visits with many Oklahoma legislators alerted them to the danger to the Constitution of a proposal that would convene a Conference of the States, the virtual equivalent of a constitutional convention. He also worked with other JBS members in gathering sufficient signatures to have a grand jury investigate the terrible Oklahoma City bombing.

Married in 1968, Clark and Janis have two children and six grandchildren.  He is a church elder and they actively support a Christian school.
