Alex Newman is an educator, author, consultant, and award-winning international journalist. In addition to serving as president of the media and information consulting firm Liberty Sentinel Media, Inc, he has written for a wide array of publications in the United States and abroad. He currently serves as a senior editor for The New American magazine, as well as a contributor to WND (WorldNetDaily) and The Epoch Times.

He has also written for numerous newspapers and magazines, including the Gainesville Sun, Liberty magazine, Crisis magazine, The Diplomat magazine, Swiss News magazine, Sunshine State News, and Alachua County Today.

Alex has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida with an emphasis on economics and international relations, as well as an A.A. in foreign languages from Miami-Dade College.

Alex also serves as a director for the organization Bear Witness Central, which works to protect and preserve the U.S. Constitution, and on several advisory boards for education-focused organizations. He also serves as a director for G. Edward Griffin’s Red Pill University, connecting people around the world with leaders in the liberty movement.

Alex has an education blog called The Newman Report. For twelves years, he taught advanced economics to high-school seniors through FreedomProject Academy, an accredited K-12 school offering a classical education based on Judeo-Christian values. Before that, he worked for the Leadership Institute, organizing conservative student groups and publications and recruiting young conservatives into the movement.

Alex has lived in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, Switzerland, France, South Africa and Sweden, and speaks multiple languages fluently. His work has been cited by governments and major media outlets around the world, and Alex is a frequent guest on radio shows, TV programs, and at conferences. Along with his family, he currently splits his time between various places, including Europe and the United States.
