Are Your Local Police Becoming Nationalized?, Summit, NJ
Sunday 18 September 2016, 01:00pm - 04:00pm

The more dependence police departments have on the federal government, the less accountability they have to the local people they are supposed to serve. In the new video, Support Your Local Police, The John Birch Society's National Director of Field Activities, James Fitzgerald, a former police officer himself, exposes the anti-police agenda that has been and continues to be funded and advanced by the radical Left, and discusses "Black Lives Matter," the "Bronx Defenders," the tragic recent vents of Ferguson, Baltimore, and other examples of how this agenda has been implemented with substantial media "coverage" (i.e. propaganda) - as part of the Communist strategy of centralization.

The U.S. Sentate said, "Our police are among the foremost guardians of freedom and thus a major target of the Communists. The better the force...the more vital it is for the Communists to destroy it."

With the federalization and militarization of local police, and their cocurrent demonization in the media to convince Americans that local police are incapable of protecting them and therefore must be nationalized, the possibility of a national police is growing. Again, a national police force would serve only the interests of the federal government, and that never bodes well for personal freedom.

The John Birch Society is hosting this video to alert your community to keep police local and independent of federal control.
