NAFTA Pulls Blueprint from the TPP!

Written by  Monday, 02 October 2017 19:44

Canada hosted the third round of NAFTA trade talks that just wrapped up last Wednesday. Unfortunately, even according the New York Times the updates have been drawn from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which The John Birch Society and other patriotic organizations have worked relentlessly to prevent from going into force because of its threats to American independence and liberty.

President Trump did withdraw from the TPP agreement in January, however his willingness to renegotiate NAFTA instead of completely withdrawing is troubling. Knowing that the TPP trade agreement between the United States and 11 other countries would have been the largest trade agreement in history and would have led us into an economic and political union heading towards world government, NAFTA is NOT moving in a wise direction.

Trump stated time and time again during his election campaign, that NAFTA was “…the worst trade deal maybe ever signed anywhere, but certainly ever signed in this country.” (May 9, 2016) So why would he allow the U.S. trade representative, Robert Lighthizer to renegotiate it? Doesn’t he know the dangers of it? Is America even aware of its implications?

Taking a look at a September poll from The Economist/YouGov Poll sampling 1500 adults, asking them whether or not  they favor or oppose the federal government negotiating free trade agreements like NAFTA, 36% of them were unsure and 24% of them somewhat favor the agreements.

These troubling stats show that not enough Americans are aware of the dangers hidden in the “trade” agreements. America’s uncertainty and lack of knowledge on this topic needs to change! We’ve made it easy by giving you a list of top ten reasons for opposing NAFTA that you can share with others.

Top 10 Reasons to Oppose NAFTA
  1. Lack of transparency
  2. Trade deficits with Mexico and Canada
  3. Businessmen will lose their ability to function independently
  4. Elimination of secure borders (no borders & opening the floodgates of migration)
  5. Threats to homeland security
  6. Opportunity for Agenda 21/2030 to take control over private property
  7. Entangling alliances
  8. The loss of sovereignty
  9. Integration into regional government (North American Union)
  10. Stepping stone to world government
By merging with Canada and Mexico, the United States would have to abandon the Declaration of Independence and ignore the Constitution, much like sovereign nations in Europe had to give up their national independence and constitutions to become “member states” in the regional government known as the European Union. If NAFTA is expanded, our hard-won freedoms would diminish. It’s time to stop NAFTA to protect American independence for future generations.
