On October 1, 2018, The New American magazine posted online an article by our Research Project Manager Christian Gomez, titled, “New NAFTA: Text of U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).” We recommend that you read it.

With November 6th sneaking up, We the People have a duty to create an informed electorate and select representatives that will uphold the Constitution. A total of 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested. Will they all be Constitutionalists and represent the Constitution correctly 100% of the time? More than likely, no, that’s why we must use this time to encourage others to do their research before voting.

Many times something happens in the news, like the Kavanaugh hearings, and it dominates the news cycle. Little do many know, what's happening behind the scenes while everyone else is discussing the hot topic. This time, what's been under the radar is the new North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) deal that U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, who is also a Council on Foreign Relations member, negotiated with Canada and Mexico. NAFTA, even though Trump claims it’s been replaced, is very much alive in the new deal named the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

A lot has happened since Robert Welch established The John Birch Society in 1958. Long-term members know for a fact that if The John Birch Society hadn’t stood its ground for 60 years, the United States would be much different today. Time and time again we put a wrench in the globalists’ plans through the educational efforts of wonderful members, field staff, and supporters!

Wouldn’t it be ideal if there was a silver bullet that America could use to restore what the Founding Fathers envisioned? No more Big Government, no more corrupt politicians, no more national debts, no more high taxes, etc. Unfortunately, that is not the case and no such bullet exists. The solution always has been properly educated voters, because even if Washington was fixed today, voters would continue to send people to Congress based on their lack of understanding of the Constitution and our system of government.

The John Birch Society couldn’t be more excited to celebrate 231 years of the U.S. Constitution! September 17, 1787 marks the day Franklin, Madison, Washington, Hamilton, and the other noble men signed the U.S. Constitution. Now with attacks coming from all angles: promotion of a Constitutional Convention, ignorance of the document, and a disregard for its provisions, it needs defenders of freedom like yourself to protect it!

With the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) deal up in the air, the dangers and threats of its solidification are still very prevalent. Its inherent power to combine Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. economically and politically under one roof, the North American Union, is heavily promoted by globalists pushing for global government.

Just in time for the 2019 state legislative sessions, The New American has published an article exposing globalist connections behind the push for a Constitutional Convention.

Mollie Tibbetts: A young Iowa college girl who had her whole life ahead of her went missing in mid-July. Tragically, police found her dead in a cornfield last week. According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the suspect was here illegally from Mexico utilizing a false ID to establish himself in the U.S. He confessed to the crime, but appears to be building a case for an insanity defense. This raises the question: Is now the time to discuss America’s immigration policies?

One year ago, the Trump administration restarted the NAFTA negotiations. Fast forward to today, not much has changed. NAFTA is still a bad deal for America and it's still being debated. One difference is that we are anxiously anticipating an exit from the deal because of Trump’s recent comments made to U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer. Trump said, “If we don’t have a breakthrough, don’t do the deal.” Hopefully, Trump will do what he can to end this trade pact with Canada and Mexico for good, with the Congress following his lead.
