FAQs About Membership

Membership is available at many levels and is easily obtained and renewable online. Archive history is viewable for multiple years back depending on your level of membership. Membership can include The New American magazine and the JBS bulletin while your status is active.

As a member, you will be assigned a coordinator, available to answer questions you may have. If at any time you have an issue logging onto your account, updating your account information or have questions or concerns, we encourage you to call our Customer Service department.

How do I change my membership from digital to print?

Print is more costly than digital. If you would like to switch from one to another, simply choose the level of membership you are wanting on the website and make that payment, we will update your account accordingly. Print costs $87.00, and digital costs $48.00.

Can I renew my membership online and how?

Yes you can. Simply choose the level of membership you are wanting on the website and make that payment, we will update your account accordingly.

I cannot log onto my membership account on JBS.org

If you have never registered on our website, that is the first step. If you have registered on our website and have forgotten your password or you are having other issues, please contact Customer Service and we will be happy to assist you.

I cannot see the archives

Please Customer Service and use the blue Leave Feedback option in the lower right corner. Archives are accessed in the same way using your same login information. All that has changed is the look and layout. We will be updating the archives soon so watch for the email update with information on that.

How far back can I see the archives?

Archive access is based on your level of membership. If you cannot see the archives, you may not have the appropriate level to view them. Please contact Customer Service and we will be happy to assist you.

If you are simply not finding the archives, you must log in and go to members. There you will find the archives section.

How do I find out about Chapters in my area?

If you are a member, please contact your local coordinator, or contact Customer Service and we will be happy to assist you.

What does a JBS membership include?

Membership in the John Birch Society can include The New American magazine delivered twice monthly, the John Birch Society Bulletin delivered once monthly, access to other members in your area in the form of Chapters and access to our periodicals and archives online depending on your level of membership.

Will I get a membership card?

Yes, you will receive a membership card with your welcome letter.

How do I update my address/email online?
