The Threat of Losing U.S. Liberty and Independence Through Foreign Entanglements Described in New Book

APPLETON, Wis. – April 13, 2018- When the U.K. voted to leave the EU in 2016, Brexit was felt world-wide. Then the Trump Administration withdrew the United States from the TPP and is in the process of renegotiating NAFTA. These so called “free trade” agreements are an inherent threat to the sovereignty of our nation. The CEO of The John Birch Society, Arthur Thompson, explains what these developments mean for the United States’ on the global stage after the election of President Trump in the newly released edition of his book International Merger by Foreign Entanglements. This 4th edition includes a new chapter that explains how President Trump has changed the global landscape with his “America First” policy.

Thompson writes in the book, “The path on which our government has proceeded for decades is dangerous to liberty. The people in government are not stupid or ignorant. They are organized and motivated by a different philosophy than mainstream Americans.” His book, specifically the new chapter, talks about the dangers Americans face from the decisions the federal government makes on foreign trade deals.

Reading this book will enlighten readers to the perspective that the federal government conceals from the public as well as learning of the successes that The John Birch Society has had in regards to educating the public on the nefarious agenda of multi-national agreements. International Merger by Foreign Entanglements is published by The John Birch Society and a copy of the book can be purchased at ShopJBS.org [185 pages, pb, $9.95, ISBN 978-1-881919-12-4].
